We believe property development can be a force for good.
At Small Giants Development, we create places that nurture community, regenerate the environment, and deliver long-term value, not just for investors, but for future generations.
We’re a developer for the new economy. We work at the intersection of design, sustainability, and social impact, bringing together visionary architects, purpose-led partners, and a deep commitment to place.

Our Projects
From carbon neutral buildings to heritage restorations and ethical housing models, our projects are grounded in purpose and guided by values. Each one is a living example of what’s possible when you put people and planet at the centre.

The Commons Hobart
In the heart of Hobart’s CBD is The Commons, a seven-storey multi-residential building with 30 apartments. At its heart, this is a community of residents is choosing to live more meaningfully with each other and the natural world.

The Cape
Our eco-village development at Cape Paterson, Victoria. We got super lucky with this site, it’s the last greenfield development right on the coast in Australia - large enough for 500 homes we built 220 environmentally friendly homes, allowing more space for veggie gardens, parkland, and shared community spaces. Not to mention the path all the way to the beach!

Heading
Our second development, built in Collingwood, Victoria has 53 apartments, a communal rooftop space overlooking the city and two commercial spaces on the ground floor. Designed by the team at Jackson Clements Burrows Architecture. Oxford and Peel was completed in 2016 and continues our philosophy of sustainable and community focused development.
In business for good
